Bernhard Kern teaches modern drum-set in his rehearsal studio, near the Augarten park, in Graz. The lessons are arranged individually for beginners and advanced students at all ages. The lessons focuses on the personal preferences of each student, in any style such as Rock, Pop, Metal, Funk, Jazz, and many others. In addition, courses and clinics are offered on particular subject areas.

Bernhard taught at Studio Percussion School in Graz. Since 2002 he has been teaching drums and percussion at the college of music in Eggersdorf/Graz.

Bernhard is still working as a musician in various styles of music and has not only performed live but also gained considerable studio experience.
